Competitor Intelligence

AI-assisted Meta Ad Library analysis that goes beyond browsing. Study observable creative patterns, form original hypotheses, and connect research to production without claiming access to competitor performance or Meta's private ranking reasons. If you are comparing tools, see how this differs from Foreplay — swipe files stop at saving ads, and read our guide to competitor ad analysis for the method behind it.

Structural Ad Analysis

Ads can be tagged by observable hook type, composition, color scheme, CTA style, messaging angle, and days active. These fields describe the creative; they do not reveal private performance.

Industry Pattern Detection

Summarizes recurring observable patterns across the ads in your research set. Use the result to form a test hypothesis, not as proof that a pattern caused performance.

Competitor Tracking & Alerts

Add competitor brands to your watchlist. Get notified when they launch new ads, change creative strategies, or adopt new hook patterns. Track up to 10 brands on Agency plans.

Days Active Intelligence

Filter by observable active duration to find durable creative examples. Duration is a directional research signal, not evidence that an ad is profitable or that Andromeda rewarded it.

Generate Similar

Generate original, brand-specific concepts inspired by a selected structural pattern. Review the output to avoid copying protected expression, trademarks, or unverifiable claims.

Trend Analysis

Track how frequently hooks, visual styles, and messaging angles appear in the observed set over time. Frequency does not establish effectiveness without performance data.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Meta ad spy tool?
A Meta ad research tool organizes publicly visible Facebook and Instagram ads so you can study hooks, formats, messaging, and active duration. Standard commercial Ad Library records do not reveal spend or conversion performance, so AdRiseLab treats duration and recurring patterns as research signals rather than proof of budget or profitability.
How do I find out which competitor ads are actually working?
Use run time as a directional signal. The Meta Ad Library publishes no spend or engagement data, so duration is the most useful proxy available: an ad still running after 30 days is more likely to be earning its budget than one that disappeared in a week. It is an inference, not a measurement, so treat long-running ads as the set worth studying rather than as confirmed winners.
What does the Meta Ad Library not show you?
It does not show spend, impressions, engagement, CTR, conversion data, or audience targeting for standard commercial ads. You get the creative, the start date, and the placements. Everything about performance has to be inferred, which is why run-time tracking and creative pattern analysis matter more than raw ad volume.
Is it allowed to track competitor ads?
The Meta Ad Library is a public transparency tool Meta operates deliberately, and every ad in it is already published, so reviewing competitor advertising is ordinary market research. Copying protected assets is a separate matter: take the pattern, the angle, and the format, not the artwork or the trademarked copy. If you are unsure about a specific use, ask your own counsel.
How is this different from Foreplay or AdSpy?
AdRiseLab is differentiated by connecting Meta competitor research to product-URL creative generation, guided campaign setup, Paused-status publishing, and account analysis. Other tools may provide deeper multi-platform research, swipe files, briefs, or collaboration, so the best fit depends on whether research depth or Meta execution is the priority.
How many competitors should I track?
Five to ten is usually the useful range: two or three direct rivals in your price bracket, a couple of category leaders whose creative you can learn from, and one or two challengers experimenting faster than you can. Beyond that the feed turns into noise and nobody reviews it.
